Eligibility Criteria For ABB Off Campus Drive 2023:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. A master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in power system would be a plus
Skills Required For ABB Off Campus Drive 2023:
Your background:
- Fresh graduates with passion for power system engineering with some educational project related experience in the power system would be preferable
- Affinity towards programming (Excel VBA, SQL, Python, Power BI)
- High self-motivation with ability to organize, schedule, prioritize, and multi-task in a dynamic environment
- Basic knowledge of power system study software tools such as ETAP, PSCAD, EMTP etc. is a plus
- Willingness to travel internationally
Job Description For ABB Off Campus Drive 2023:
You will be working as Engineer- Power System and will be part of Electrification business for Distribution Solutions division based in Nashik, India. In this role you will be reporting to Business Manager – Portfolio and will be responsible for studying the customer power system requirements, consulting customers globally on available power system solutions, assisting in making technical proposals and preforming power systems studies for various types of systems.
Your responsibilities:
- Performing power system studies like load flow, short-circuit, protective device coordination, arc flash, grounding & lightning analyses
- Model projects using typical power system study software like ETAP, Power Factory, SKM, Easy Power etc
- Supporting and conduct electromagnetic transient studies
- Coordinating activities with other team members of the global Power Studies and Consulting team.
- Preparing accurate, clearly written, well-organized technical reports
- Specifying equipment ratings and project design parameters based on studies
