- Experience on process engineering field Industries (Oil & Gas, petrochemical, water, wastewater & industrial effluent treatment plant)
Job Description For ABB Off Campus Drive 2023:
You will be working as Engineering and Documentation Specialist at global and will be part of Process Automation business area Measurement & Analytics division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Sales Support Manager and will be responsible to provide internal and external customer support (e.g., technical, order assistance, payment-related assistance) and coordinate with relevant resources to have complete case ownership and to increase customer satisfaction.
Your responsibilities:
- Studying & reviewing tender documents, contract requirements & technical correspondence submitted in the proposal stage along with PO once received and selecting of instruments (Pressure, Flowmeter, Position, Actuators) as per project requirements
- Selecting requirement accessories (FIP), Manifolds, Valves, Pneumatic ON/OFF and control valves, etc. as per process requirement
- Developing engineering deliverables such as a Single Line Diagram, Electrical Load List, Cable sizing calculation, Power cable schedule, Cable tray schedule and energy consumption calculation, Lighting Calculation, Earthing Calculation, Lightning calculation, Power /Heat dissipation calculation, UPS power sizing calculation, bus bar calculation, etc
- Preparing the instrument-related documents such as instrument index, instrument datasheet, IO List, termination diagram, cable block diagram, cause & effect matrix and coordinating with the engineering team for the electrical equipment installation drawings/ methods of a statement and O&M document preparation
- Preparing of BOM for E&I materials and floating RFQ for field accessories i.e., valves, orifice plate, venturi, manifolds. to vendor and finalize the selection of field equipment /bulk materials by coordinating with vendors and procurement
- Preparing final documents for supplies as per contract and adhering to timelines of documents submission to avoid LD as per contract
