Job Description:

  • Apple is looking to add to their team of Account Managers; the candidate will be responsible for 3 dimensions
  • Holistic account planning and on-ground execution with 1-2 Partners. This involves deep engagement with the full Partner team, starting from the Business Owner all the way to the Store Manager
  • Managing the business and customer experience outcomes of stores in their assigned region (which is typically across more than 2 partners). This is akin to a typical Area Sales Manager responsibility in a typical Consumer Goods firm in India. This will involve spending sufficient time at the stores and with the store managers to help grow their business.
  • Owning and designing growth levers for the overall channel, working with their managers. These are new capabilities that Apple or our partners nationally should be building to continue their growth trajectory; emerging from the strategic APR roadmap.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Significant experience (5 years+) working for retail businesses, ideally (but not necessarily) in the consumer electronics industry
  • Experience and deep understanding of account management of scale channel partners – including, but not limited to – inventory, offer design, store experience & merchandising, marketing
  • Maturity to influence the business partners for them and Apple – while having the leadership to drive the store managers of the Partner
  • Strong analytical skills to determine root causes for business trajectory; Propose and action new approaches to reverse meaningful situations
  • Ability to take care of ambiguity, multiple levers, and prioritize on a daily/weekly/quarterly level
  • Ability to operate independently to drive sales outcomes, while also working with corporate Apple teams for company-wide priorities

KEY DELIVERABLES:

  • Quarterly sales plans across all of Apple’s lines of businesses, executed through strong sales cadence within the territory
  • Robust account plan with clear execution progress on priorities aligned with us and Partner leadership
  • Positive relationship with promoter(s) and their top-level team
