Job Summary The Intake Claims Customer Care Center Representative takes First Notice of Loss specific to Auto, Property and Commercial/Farm Ranch at the Enterprise level. The Intake Representative will participate in required training to demonstrate an understanding of obtaining necessary claim loss detail for companies across our enterprise.

Job Level Summary:

  • Requires working knowledge and skills developed through formal training or work experience.
  • Identifies the problems and all relevant issues in straightforward situations, assesses each using standard procedures, and makes sound decisions.
  • Works within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision.

Primary Accountabilities:

  • Acquire claim knowledge through training and mentorship.
  • Review and apply coverage and process payments.
  • Demonstrate effective planning and organizational skills, which includes; time management, adhering to a schedule and servicing claims.
  • Handle inbound and outbound call interactions.
  • Completion of FNOL and cross-functional responsibilities with multiple lines of business across the enterprise.
  • Demonstrate the ability to problem solve and work independently.
  • Identify and gather necessary information to accurately process claims and achieve business goals.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal/external customers and business partners.
  • Utilize claim systems and other applications necessary to complete job tasks proficiently.

Skills Required:

Specialized Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service
  • Demonstrated ability to review and apply coverage, assign services, interpret estimates and adjuster notes, and process payments.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and problem solve.
  • Demonstrated experience handling interactions via inbound calls, outbound calls, and digitally.

Travel Requirements:

  • This position requires travel up to 5% of the time.
