- University degree or equivalent, with major in financial, mathematical, analytical, or technical field strongly preferred.
- Candidate must be from Mumbai.

Job Description For Morningstar Freshers Recruitment 2023:
Responsibilities:
- Review the terms and conditions of corporate actions.
- Index operations such as rebalancing, quality control, Index Calculation, Real time Feed Monitoring, Daily File Monitoring, Other daily processes
- Clear daily exceptions assignment and update data services with validated information
- Challenge data vendors where inconsistencies arise to ensure high level of straight through processing
- Define business requirements, functional specifications, process mapping and gap analysis
- Work with project teams to ensure implementation meets design and business requirements
- Client support
- Work in rotational shift (Early Morning/General/Evening)
For Experienced Individual:
- Experience of 1-2 years
- Background in index Industry, fund management or financial research beneficial.
- Good understanding of corporate actions handling
- Understanding of different asset classes, excellent knowledge in equities
- Strong familiarity with Microsoft Excel and the structuring of complex analysis is key
- Experience with SQL and Python will be added advantage.
For Fresher Individual:
- Recently graduated in Finance/Economics stream.
- Fundamentally sound of Finance knowledge with in-depth knowledge of basic financial terminologies
- Understanding of different asset classes, excellent knowledge in equities
- Strong familiarity with Microsoft Excel with some proven practical exposure to excel.
Additional Requirements (For internal consumption only and not to circulate to candidates):
- Notice period (for experienced Individual) lesser than 60 days however earliest joiner will be prioritize from selected candidates.
- Female candidate will be given priority for gender diversity though there is no gender restriction
