Qualcomm Freshers Recruitment 2022 Position Description:
General Summary: The position requires strong C programming skills with an understanding of Communications and/Or RF systems. The candidate should have the knowledge of digital communications and RF theory. An understanding of embedded real time systems is desired. Experience in LTE, CDMA, UMTS, GSM or 5G wireless systems is a plus. Must have good communication skills and be a team player.
- C and/Or C++ Software Programming and Debugging skills on Embedded real time operating systems/RTOS.
- Should have a good understanding of the software engineering concepts.
- Have a good understanding of the communication system along with various blocks like Transmitter/Receiver, Amplifiers, etc.
- Knowledge of wireless communication in any of the radio access technologies (e.g. CDMA, WCDMA, LTE, 5GNR etc.) is a plus.
- Wireless system knowledge and/or background applicable to RF software, Communication theory and Radio architecture.
- Modem/Communications device driver development experience.
- RF Testing experience for validation and usage of RF Test equipment.
- Demonstrated expertise working on a lab bench with HW and RF Test equipment (protocol test call boxes, spectrum analyzer, Oscilloscope, etc.).
- Hands on experience in manufacturing test program debug and optimization.
Eligibility Criteria For Qualcomm Freshers Recruitment 2022:
- Fresh grads need to have a good understanding of C and/or C++, Software Engineering concepts with focus on embedded software, scripting languages if applicable (python, etc), Digital/Wireless Communications, ECE fundamentals and RF Theory.

Minimum Qualifications:The position is for RF Software team at Qualcomm, Hyderabad. The RF Software Team :
- Is part of the Qualcomm Modem team which is responsible for developing the drivers for the Qualcomm Modem/RF chipsets.
- Develops drivers for the leading RF Transceivers in close collaboration with RF Hardware and Modem/Baseband teams. This is at the core of the Qualcommâs Communication System solution.
- Creates, Develops and Optimizes Modem and RF Transceiver and Antenna / RF Front End algorithms and Software modules to improve System performance, Factory yields and RF Testability.
- Provides RF Driver expertise to investigations of complex Modem/RF issues in a cross-functional Hardware / Software working environment.
- Works closely with the physical layer teams in delivering new features to keep Qualcomm Modem performance competitive in the evolving marketplace.
- Collaborates closely with Modem and RF Systems, Hardware and Test Engineering during all cycles of product development.
