Job Description:
The Software Quality Analyst:
- It is a perfect opportunity for software quality professionals – possessing a high attention to detail, can collect and analyze data, automate and write scipts, identify and manage risks, and are good at reporting.
- Our software quality analysts work and collaborate globally and grow to become experts in open source software principles: an end-user to expert level view of relevant trends, technologies, and best practices in open source software.
In this role, you will:
- Conduct substantive investigations into all areas of open source components: licensing, security vulnerabilities, vibrancy and adoption rates of open source projects, etc.
- Become a super-user of some of the industry’s leading open source management tools: Black Duck, WhiteSource, NexB, FOSSology, SW360, etc.
- Execute end-to-end “download to build to deploy” of open source software -this includes software wriiten in GO, Swift, Java, etc.
- Testing our Internal tools: You will do test-automation, maintenance of automation scripts and support process automation efforts.
- Help drive our own internal implementations of machine-learning and other methods to scale and increase open source metadata quality.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s in computer science or other technical discipline or equivalent education.
- 0-3 years of experience in a software quality or testing role.
Skills Required:
Experience:
- Bachelor’s in computer science or other technical discipline or equivalent education.
- 0-3 years of experience in a software quality or testing role.
- Excellent adaptability to software test or quality tools and environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and investigative mindset with high attention to detail
- Excellent ability in coding high-level programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, etc.
- Conceptual understanding of software pipeline tools and systems: Git, Maven, Jenkins, etc.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies and lifecycles
- Have a genuine interest in expanding their career and experience into the areas of open source intake management, use, and best practices
