Job Description:

  • As Junior Sales Operations Support Analyst you are a member Field Operations Organisation and part of the Global Commercial Operations team. The Field Operations organization is a a professional, committed and dynamic team which provide and invaluable contribution to the success of the business.
  • The role reports into the APJ Field Sales Operations Manager, and will support the APJ Field Sales Operations Manager, and APJ Field teams.
  • The role provides support to the different regional and field teams in APJ. The role encompasses analysis, reporting and support for aspects of the sales process including forecasting, providing analysis on performance and pipeline, field tool assistance and enablement, using current and future sales tools (Sales Force, Power BI, Anaplan etc.).
  • In addition this role may be include partnering with other Commercial Operations members on  projects supporting business process improvements, partnering with finance to maintain booking metrics and enabling the sales teams.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Forecasting
  • Working with the team to ensure a high level of data accuracy and data quality in SFDC and other core systems.
  • Provide support to the Regional directors and their teams for forecasting and pipeline reporting requirements, including the weekly forecast process, and the end of quarter requirements
  • Tracking quarterly forecast accuracy metrics
  • Analysis including
  • Performance  by Revenue, Product and Routes to Market
  • Booking trends, and
  • Pipeline reporting
  • Provide analysis as part of the yearly planning cycle to the regional teams that you support, including customers, partners and route to markets.
  • Compensation
  • Valid accurate account assignment engine setup
  • Validation of bookings from rep to team hierarchy and overlay crediting
  • Support monthly compensation data validation for preparation of commission calculation
  • Ensure accurate compensation attainment results for Field sales roles
  • Field Tool Enablement
  • Providing assistance and enablement to the APJ field teams on use of key tools.
  • Working with the team to ensure a high level of data accuracy and data quality in SFDC and other core systems.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business management or equivalent.
  • Typically 0-2 years experience
Skills Required:

Candidate Qualifications: The position requires a candidate with a commercial acumen and strong people skills since the role involves working and collaborating with multiple disciplines and business units across the company. Likewise the ability to work effectively across different cultures, team spirit, and a can-do and proactive approach is essential. Preferred experience of working in finance, accounting or sales ideally in a high tech industry, preferably software is an advantage. The candidate will have strong attention to detail and a strong willingness to learn on a regular basis. Experience with Salesforce, commission tools is ideal.  In some areas of this role there are firm timeline and deadlines that must be adhered to. Ability to manage ones workload is essential.

  • Basic understanding of business and sales operations processes and practices
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Computer skills including advanced MS Excel is essential.
  • Basic skills for Word and PowerPoint.
  • Strong data analysis skills including typical BI tools (PBI, Anaplan, Einstein)
  • Candidates must have good phone and written communication skills, as well as the demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business management or equivalent.
  • Typically 0-2 years experience
