Job Description For Xerox Off Campus Drive 2023:
Purpose:
- XFS is a data driven organization leveraging Machine Learning and AI to provide instant credit decisions to its customers and partners.
- The Risk Analytics Intern will support XFS’s Growth & Digital strategy by providing analytic and reporting expertise within the Xerox Risk Organization. He/She is responsible for leveraging data throughout the credit lifecycle to enhance risk systems and support informed business decisions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Extract and process data from central databases/repositories to support Risk analytics work & reporting using Python and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Coordinate and partner with other team members to deliver high value analytics based on business requirements.
- Provide Machine Learning (“ML”) and Analytic support on key company initiatives.
- Identify trends in the market and business environment to support forecasting and planning and overall portfolio performance.
- Provide recommendations for systems and performance improvements as appropriate.
Deliverables:
- Carry out data management and preparation activities including but not limited to extraction, clean-up, linkage, aggregation, filtering of data based on a solid understanding of the company’s data systems, structures and limitations.
- Build and validate various tables, design and calculations of datalake.
- Prepare and deliver analyses and reports as required by the business based on a strong, thorough analytical process.
- Support the build of a new scorecard in the UK from an alternative supplier. This includes identifying the alternative suppliers and engaging with them (with support), analyzing coverage of our portfolio, processing internal and external data and design/adapt the UK scorecard (credit score modeling).
- Act as contact point for users and IT resources to manage performance and functionality of auto-adjudication systems.
Our Auto-decisioning systems support best-in-class customer/partner experience (credit decisions within seconds) and contribute to XFS’s financial performance through high automation, high approval rates and low losses. The Risk Analytics Intern will adapt our algorithms and reporting to the evolving environment and further strengthen XFS’s competitive position in the market place.
The role reports to Risk Analytics Analyst within the Risk Function of XFS.
